Brenda Barr
Brenda Barr is a native Oregonian. She has over twenty years of experience in the mortgage industry. Brenda began her mortgage profession in 1984 as an insurer of FHA/VA loans. In 1986, she moved into loan processing, and then for the past sixteen years she was an underwriter for several different lenders in the area where she was underwriting and approving loans. Brenda had a reputation as one of the most knowledgeable and successful underwriters in the area.
She was very often sought out by brokers all over the State of Oregon for her underwriting expertise. She has now taken that expertise to the next level as a loan originator for Stepping Stone Mortgage.
Brenda is married and has five children, and six grandchildren. Brenda and her family enjoy participating in local Civil War reenactments. Brenda is also currently writing a novel about the Civil War. She also enjoys singing, and oil painting.
