Paul VanderPlaat
I was raised in the Willamette Valley, and graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in Finance. I am ready to expertly guide you through the complicated process of obtaining a home loan.
I began my career as a Loan Officer with the Farm Credit Services and served the ranching and farming communities of Oregon for ten years. In 1995, I was recruited to the mortgage lending industry as a real estate Loan Officer. Over the past ten years, I have assisted over 1,000 families achieve their dreams of home ownership.
I feel my experience and conscientious approach to working with my clients will ensure a smooth transaction. I am thoroughly versed with all currently available loan programs and I will happily provide you with the information you need to make the right home loan choice. I am a firm believer that educating the client of the loan process, and the loan products available, is crucial in helping my clients make the best decisions for their particular situation.
When not working on your home loan needs, you'll probably find me teeing off on the links, or fishing with my wife Patty and our three sons.

Brenda Barr
Brenda Barr is a native Oregonian. She has over twenty years of experience in the mortgage industry. Brenda began her mortgage profession in 1984 as an insurer of FHA/VA loans. In 1986, she moved into loan processing, and then for the past sixteen years she was an underwriter for several different lenders in the area where she was underwriting and approving loans. Brenda had a reputation as one of the most knowledgeable and successful underwriters in the area.
She was very often sought out by brokers all over the State of Oregon for her underwriting expertise. She has now taken that expertise to the next level as a loan originator for Stepping Stone Mortgage.
Brenda is married and has five children, and six grandchildren. Brenda and her family enjoy participating in local Civil War reenactments. Brenda is also currently writing a novel about the Civil War. She also enjoys singing, and oil painting.

I began my Career as a loan officer for a finance company and have become skilled in all aspects of the loan process. Hi my name is Jami Cron. I moved to Oregon in 1994 from a small, hardworking farm town in Iowa. Since being in Oregon I have developed many wonderful friendships and business relationships. I call it home and couldn’t imagine ever leaving. Recently I have come to love the outdoor sports of wakeboarding and snowboarding. I enjoy anything outdoors especially if it has to do with summertime!
